FOUNDING PARTNER | CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Rudy Touzet

As founder and chief executive officer of Banyan Street Capital, Rudy Prio Touzet provides strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the firm’s investment objectives and operations. He brings more than 40 million square feet of office investing with a value exceeding $7 billion and 40 years of commercial operating experience to Banyan, which he founded in 2007.Prior to founding Banyan Street Capital, Mr. Touzet co-founded America’s Capital Partners in 1997 and led the company for the next decade. During that time, the firm invested in and operated 13.8 million square feet of office properties, with a value of $1.9 billion, throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic in joint ventures with domestic and international investors. In 2009, Mr. Touzet combined many of the ACP assets with Eola Capital, LLC and helped to lead Eola through its merger with Parkway Properties, Inc. in 2011. He also served as an independent director of Parkway from 2011 to 2012.In 1997, Mr. Touzet also joined Associated Capital Properties and served as its executive vice president until its sale to Highwoods Properties after which he served as the head of Highwoods’ South Florida. From 1981 until 1997, Mr. Touzet held several positions at Cushman & Wakefield, including managing director, Florida area.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Lorri Dunne

Lorri Dunne is responsible for all operational aspects of the firm, including asset and property management, finance and accounting, reporting, insurance, and human resources, as well as acquisitions, dispositions, and managing investor and lender relations.

Ms. Dunne boasts more than 40 years of experience across all spectrums of real estate. Prior to Banyan, she was the director of asset management for Eola Capital, with a portfolio of 15 million square feet. From 1997 to 2007, Ms. Dunne was the chief operating officer of America’s Capital Partners, an integrated investment and management company, which co-invested in and managed approximately 13.8 million square feet of commercial property. She is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida.

PRESIDENT | BANYAN STREET COMPANIES

Taylor White

Taylor White is a partner and President of Banyan Street Companies, the holding company for Banyan Street’s various businesses. In this role, Mr. White has primary responsibility for Banyan Street’s residential, parking and development divisions and participates in the management of the company’s general business, particularly in the capital markets arena, where he works closely with other team members to structure, negotiate and coordinate acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and equity and debt financings.

Mr. White joined the firm as a partner in 2014 and previously served as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer, during which time he was instrumental in over $2 billion of real estate acquisition and development transactions. Prior to joining Banyan Street Capital, Mr. White was a shareholder and board member of Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A., a Florida-based law firm serving clients nationwide.

Zac Gruber

Zac Gruber is a Principal at Banyan Street Capital where he serves as President of the Office Division and sits on the firm’s Management, Investment, and Executive committees. He is involved with all aspects of the firm’s office investments including strategic asset management, capital deployment, leasing, dispositions and investor/lender relations.  Mr. Gruber oversees a team of over 150 professionals charged with growing and operating the firm's portfolio of 11 million square feet of institutional, quality office properties valued at approximately $3.5 billion.  

Throughout his career, Mr. Gruber has participated in the acquisition, development, leasing and management of over 50 million square feet of office and industrial properties through roles at CBRE, PS Business Parks, and other family offices and GP sponsor investors.  Mr. Gruber is involved with several real estate industry organizations including the Real Estate Roundtable, NAIOP, and ULI and received a B.A. from Tufts University and an M.B.A from the University of Florida Hough Graduate School of Business.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Danny Zwieg

Danny Zwieg is the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and oversees the finance and accounting for all lines of business. Mr. Zwieg came to Banyan in 2014 and assumed the role of Controller, where he managed financial reporting, accounting, tax, audit, and special analysis.

Prior to joining Banyan, Mr. Zwieg served as the accounting manager at Parkway Properties from 2011 but has been indirectly associated with Banyan since 2007, when he worked in the accounting department of Eola Capital.

SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR | CAPITAL FORMATION

Noble Carpenter

Noble Carpenter is responsible for oversight and expansion of the firm’s capital relationships and assisting with the strategic growth of the company. He brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate investment and leadership experience to Banyan.

Prior to joining Banyan Street Capital, Mr. Carpenter served as the President of Capital Markets and Investor Services at Cushman & Wakefield Americas, where he was responsible for the integration of Cushman & Wakefield’s and DTZ’s Capital Markets platforms after their merger in 2015. Under his leadership, Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets business grew to approximately $700M in revenue by 2018. In 2011, he joined Cassidy Turley and lead its national Capital Markets business while simultaneously serving on the Board of Directors and chairing its Audit Committee. Mr. Carpenter spent over 20 years of his career at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he held a number of leadership positions. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Urstadt Biddle Properties (NYSE: UBP), the Board of Advisors of One Love Foundation (https://www.joinonelove.org/) and the Urban Land Institute (Vice Chair UDMUC-Silver).
